I have been asked to replicate my company's XP image as an MDT build.
Pretty much there, except I can't figure out how to get the default user
profile set. My primary knowledge is in building Vista Images, I know how to
do it there, (set copy profile, true in unattend.xml), but the mysteries of
XP sysprep are pretty much just that I skipped that whole technology as an
image builder. I know how to manually copy the profiles, but that sort of
defeats the purpose in the MDT World.
So here are the Basics:
MDT 2008p1
XP SP3
I build the image, get everything set, if I logon as Administrator its all
where it oughta be, background, shortcuts, My Computer Icon, etc.
If I logon as another user somethings seem to stick, but the background and
a few other things are not correct.
So what is the magic trick to getting the profile copied in an MDT build?
Is there a script that I am missing someplace?
