ZTIDrivers SCCM on Vista client

Hi,

I have been integrating MDT Database usage into SCCM and all is working fine
(almost). Maybe I will post the setup here soon.
Just one thing. I want to use the MDT Driver tree (and groups) to update our
Vista Image. I wanted to use the ZTIDrivers.wsf to get those driver into the
Image.

But after running I can see its making and filling the C:\Drivers tree with
the correct drivers. But after rebooting Vista wont look in this directory to
get the driver (it will go to the driverstore). In my unattend.xml i do have
"Driverpath, C:\Drivers" but no go.

I moticed that the SCCM task to integrate drivers is using PKGMGR but this
is not how ZTIDrivers is working?

Anyone,

Thanks in advance,

Johan,

Thanks for thye reply. But I do not want my drivers into SCCM. I still want
the driver tree from MDT and use that make/model procedure. So not much
adjustment and hassle to implement drivers into SCCM and different
taskssequences per make/model. When using MDT DB i can just add one task to
the SCCM task sequence.

But ZTIDrivers doesn't do what i want. Its creates c:\drivers but
unattend.xml does not use them.

Well, my article (Option 1) describes how to create drivers packages
per make/model, without having to import the drivers into SCCM...

You do not need to have multiple task sequences per make model, only
multiple apply driver package actions in a single Task Sequencer.

Creating the necessary packages, and actions will take you about an
hour if you have 15 - 20 models... I'm guessing you will spend more
time figuring out the ZTIDrivers route... :)

Anyway, for Vista, its the ZTIPatches.wsf script that actually runs
the injection...ZTIDrivers.wsf only copies the files and updates
unattend.xml
