CustomSettings.ini deploymenttype

I am trying to deploy vista with MDT2008 with litetouch.

I have some computers which I am going to upgrade and under the [default]
settings section. And others under the mac address section I would like to
do a clean install. The upgrade works perfect. But I can not get the clean
install to work. An suggestions?

When I look at the smts.log file it shows the deployment type switching to
something other then refreash.

From time to time yes :)

If I want completely different settings for bare metal and refresh
scenarios I usually have two deployment points with different
settings. Did you start the bare metal from the Lite Touch boot image?
Or do you want to a refresh without capturing user state?

And I never, ever use the upgrade feature.. I'd rather go to my
dentist and get a root canal filling than doing upgrades :)
