Sure, therre is no dependency on SMS or SCCM to use the MDT
database...

You need to enable named pipes on the database, add a security login,
and configure cs.ini to connect to the database... check the MDT docs
for more info...

Named pipes already enable, security login already added. Can you make an example of cs.ini configurated?

Thanks

Nicole,

Just follow the DB Wizard on the right hand screen. This will create a
cs.ini with all options for the use of the database. be sure to backup your
cs.ini first
Then open the database via MDT and add your workstation. Then add roles.
assign that role to your ws. Add applications from the workbench. And you
should be up and running.

There is no default pane/screen for role selection... You have to add
one...

Jason Scheffelmaer has an example on his blog
