Customsettings.ini - commenting out information

Is it possible to comment out portions/lines in the
customesettings.ini? I am testing various scenarios I was wondering if
it was possible to comment out lines rather than creating a new file
all the time?

Yes, you should be able to start any line with a semicolon to keep it from
being recognized or processed.
